Changing the playback speed in Maya
Playback speed is the most important thing when you are designing a real time animation with sound. Now lets see how to change it.
Go to Window->Settings/Preference->Preference or click on the red blue icon on the range slider panel.
Then click on the Time Slider under Settings category. Change playback speed to Real-Time [24 fps]. Now you can see the playback speed is changed to 24 frames per second. There are several speeds to choose which is depends on your scene. Also you can stop the looping by setting up the Looping option to once.
